Our school’s philosophy which is based on engendering a sense of respect, regard and responsibility in the lives of our pupils ensures that all our pupils will ultimately be able to take their place in our community and beyond. Our ethos is that of inclusivity of pupils from all races and faiths.
Our “Wall of Infinity” is a specially commissioned piece of sculpture placed inside the entrance gate; this was commissioned under the Per Cent for Art schemes for schools. It reflects the fact that entrusted to our school are the hopes, the dreams and aspirations of an entire community of people who seek the best opportunities and facilities not only for the children currently in school but for the generations yet to come.
School Principal, Martin Delaney leads a team of 13 teachers, 9 S.N.A.’s, Bus Escorts, School Secretary, a caretaker and 2 cleaners. The Board of Management and very active Parents Committee work together with the school community to serve the best interests of the pupil in the school in Cappoquin.
Our school ethos places our pupils and his/her best interests at the heart of our educational philosophy. In working together as parents and teachers, our wish is that our pupils will thrive in a happy, healthy and stimulating school community. “Ní cheart go chur le chéile”.
