Partnerships within and outside the school are an important aspect of the Active School Flag. When a school participates in the Active School Flag Programme it is vital to interact and engage with other organisations and clubs. Waterford Sports Partnership provides a wide range of resources and tips for schools in Waterford. The school receives support from Waterford GAA through Déise Óg coaching, Cappoquin/Affane/Tourin GAA club, Cappoquin Camogie Club,  Cappoquin Football Club, Finisk Valley Athletic Club and Cappoquin Badminton Club. The school enters GAA competitions organised by Cuman na mBunscol, soccer competitions organised by the FAI, badminton competitions organised by Badminton Ireland and West Waterford Athletics.
