The closing date for applications is 31st January @ 15:00 annually. Please see admissions policy for further details.
Applications received after the 31st January will be considered as late applications and will be treated accordingly.
Parents can register their interest in enrolling their child in Bunscoil Gleann Sidheáin/Cappoquin Primary School in advance should they wish to do so. It is important to note that this is a register of interest only and does not constitute a valid application.
Completion of an application form does not guarantee a placement in the school. Telephone calls or personal school visits concerning enrolment will be facilitated, but are not deemed enrolment applications.

PART 1 – Admissions to the 2025/26 school year.
Application and Decision Dates for admission to the 2025/26 school year The following are the dates applicable for admission to junior infants:
The school will commence accepting applications for admission on | 6th January 2025 |
The school shall cease accepting applications for admission on | 31st January 2025 |
The date by which applicants will be notified of the decision on their application is | On or before 21st February 2025 |
The period within which applicants must confirm acceptance of an offer of admission is* | 2 weeks |
*Failure to accept an offer within the prescribed period above may result in the offer being withdrawn.
Note: the school will consider and issue decisions on late applications in accordance with the school’s Admission Policy.
