Today FM visit BGS

On October 5th, Aisling Bonner from Today FM came to our school to interview us. We welcomed her with a sign that said “Fáilte go Bunscoil Gleann Sidheáin!!” . When she came in, we each received Today FM goody bags with a Today FM poncho, a Today FM mug, Today FM pens, a Today FM car sticker and a Today FM bag. When we went back to the classroom, we got some books and all left except one group who stayed back to be interviewed. The discussion topics were the government’s budget, for improving Ireland, the girl who had her Christmas decorations up in September, the social media crashes and how Waterford is the best county. When every group was interviewed, she thanked us and left in her Today FM car, back to Dublin again.

Some of us heard the segment on the Ian Dempsey Breakfast show live on Thursday morning.  We all heard the clip later on in the classroom.  We are very proud of how we sounded on the radio.  Have a listen here on this link. https://www.todayfm.com/podcasts/the-ian-dempsey-breakfast-show/if-kids-ran-the-country-how-would-they-allocate-budget-2022
