Shelley Mernin from Dungarvan Tennis Club coached tennis in the school on a weekly basis to all classes for six weeks. The feedback from the children was very positive about the tennis. Again it is brilliant to have the use of Cappoquin Railway Football club’s astro pitch for the tennis.

Elaine Garde visited the school on Monday 11th October for a Heritage in Schools lesson with 3rd and 5th class pupils. Elaine returned on Thursday 14th October to do the same lesson with 4th and 6th classes. Elaine focused on the Celtic year, ogham stones and the bio-diversity in our environment.
